Privacy Policy

A short, privacy-first explanation of what SEO Report collects, what we do not collect, and how we use public website data to operate the service.

Last updated: April 19, 2026

Privacy at a glance

  • We primarily process public website data from submitted URLs and keep the scope narrow.
  • We collect limited account data such as email address, authentication details, and API credentials when needed to provide the service.
  • We do not ask for or intentionally collect financial, credit, or other sensitive personal information.
  • Paddle handles payment processing as Merchant of Record, so we do not receive your full payment card details.
  • You can contact us to access, correct, or delete your account data where applicable.

What we collect

We collect the information reasonably needed to generate reports, operate accounts, provide developer access, and run the product.

1

Account and contact information

If you create an account, request report delivery, or contact us, we may collect your email address, account identifiers, and related authentication details.

2

Submitted website URLs and report data

When you request a report, we collect the website URL you submit and the report outputs generated from publicly accessible website information.

3

Usage and technical data

We may collect IP address, browser details, device data, request metadata, and product interaction events for security, abuse prevention, troubleshooting, and service improvement.

4

API credentials

If you enable developer access, we store API key metadata and related account usage records needed to authenticate and manage your API access.

5

Billing references

We receive limited billing and transaction information from Paddle, such as transaction IDs, order status, subscription status, and customer email, to fulfill orders and support your account.

What we do not collect

SEO Report is not a sensitive-data product, and our policies are intentionally scoped to the simpler public-data service we actually run.

1

No financial or credit data

We do not request or intentionally process loan files, bank statements, credit reports, or similar financial datasets as part of the SEO Report product.

2

No sensitive personal information by design

We do not design the service to collect health data, biometric data, government identifiers, or other sensitive categories of personal information.

3

No full payment card details

Payment card entry and payment processing are handled by Paddle. We do not store full credit card numbers, CVVs, or card expiry details.

How we use data

  • Generate, store, and deliver free basic SEO reports and paid advanced SEO reports.
  • Authenticate API requests, apply plan limits, and deliver programmatic SEO report results to developers.
  • Process orders, subscriptions, receipts, and refund support through Paddle.
  • Respond to account, product, legal, and support inquiries.
  • Secure, maintain, debug, and improve the service, including fraud prevention and abuse monitoring.

Third parties and service providers

We share data only with the providers reasonably needed to run the service and only for the purposes described in this policy.

1

Paddle

Paddle is our Merchant of Record and payment processor. Paddle handles payment checkout, billing support, and refunds for our orders.

2

Email delivery providers

We may use email providers to send sign-in links, receipts, report delivery messages, and support responses.

3

Analytics tools

If analytics are enabled, we may use privacy-oriented analytics tools such as Umami to understand product usage and improve the service.

Cookies and tracking

We may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies for authentication, session continuity, security, basic preferences, and product analytics. You can control cookies through your browser, although disabling some of them may affect site functionality.

Data retention

  • Account and contact data are retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward if needed for support, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.
  • Submitted URLs and generated report records are retained only as long as needed to operate the service, provide access to paid results, and support the product.
  • API key records and usage logs are retained while developer access is active and for a limited period afterward for billing, abuse prevention, and audit purposes.
  • Billing and transaction records may be retained as required for accounting, tax, and legal obligations.

Your rights and choices

1

Access

You can ask what account and billing-related data we hold about you.

2

Correction

You can request correction of inaccurate account or contact information.

3

Deletion

You can request deletion of your account data, subject to any records we must keep for legal, accounting, security, or fraud-prevention reasons.

4

Communication preferences

You can opt out of non-essential product emails at any time. We may still send transactional or legal notices when necessary.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
